Indiana Governor’s Council for People with Disabilities

People with Disabilities Video

Everyday interactions have the power to shape how people with disabilities experience the world, yet many individuals simply aren’t sure what to say or how to act. The Indiana Governor’s Council for People with Disabilities sought to replace uncertainty with understanding by encouraging Hoosiers to approach these interactions with confidence, empathy, and respect.

Together with the Indiana Governor’s Council, we created a campaign that put authentic voices at the center of the conversation. We invited people with disabilities to speak directly to viewers, pairing their personal perspectives with playful motion graphics that reinforced key messages in a way that was engaging, approachable, and memorable. The result was a campaign that informed without lecturing, encouraging audiences to see ability before disability.

By leading with authenticity and lived experience, the campaign helped foster greater awareness, empathy and confidence—empowering Indiana residents to build more inclusive communities through everyday interactions.
