Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne
Crisis and Rollout Communications Plan
Funding alone won’t solve complex community challenges—progress depends on a shared understanding of the problem and a clear path forward. As the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne prepared to launch its Childcare Bridge Fund pilot, it recognized the importance of ensuring that providers, families, partners and stakeholders all understood the program’s purpose and the role it would play in strengthening the local childcare ecosystem.
The Ferguson team partnered closely with the Community Foundation to develop a strategic communications framework that would support a thoughtful and coordinated rollout. Together, we crafted clear messaging, built internal and external communication tools and aligned key partners around a common narrative that emphasized the program’s core mission: stabilizing existing childcare providers and sustaining access for families. By creating audience-specific guidance and practical resources, we helped ensure every conversation reinforced that purpose.
Our collaboration established a unified communications foundation that positioned the Community Foundation as a thoughtful leader and strategic investor in the future of childcare. Through careful planning, alignment and partnership, we helped create the clarity and consistency needed to build trust and support for an important community initiative.
