FWA
Point of Connection Campaign
Many travelers in Northeast Indiana believed flying from larger airports was more affordable, often overlooking the convenience, efficiency and overall experience offered by Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA). This perception created a gap in awareness and led travelers to sacrifice time and ease based on the assumption of lower costs.
The Ferguson team collaborated with FWA to shift that perception and reposition FWA as the smart, convenient choice for both business and leisure travel. Through a community-driven campaign, we focused on what matters most to travelers—saving time, simplifying the journey and enhancing the overall travel experience. By bringing the airport to the community and inviting the community back to the airport, we created messaging that felt both relevant and compelling, encouraging travelers to take a second look at FWA.
This approach delivered measurable impact across channels, serving more than 10 million impressions, driving over 44,000 site visits and generating thousands of destination searches and travel interactions—ultimately strengthening engagement and reinforcing FWA as a preferred travel option in the region.
